Shea Crotty
A staple in the Canterbury Women’s Basketball side the Wildcats for the past decade, the passionate Cantabrian hung up her singlet for the last time in 2018, choosing to focus on Body Sculpting a sport her mother Robyn used to compete in in the 1980s.
Shea who continues to call New Brighton home, made her debut for the Tall Ferns in 2014 and went on to play 8 games in the black singlet and almost 150 in the red and black.
Hailing from a talented family Shea is the third of the Crotty clan to represent Canterbury and New Zealand, with mum Robyn a distinguished Water Polo Player and Swimmer and brother Ryan an All Black.
